A Not-So-Lone Man In The Wilderness

Camping: a great way to test the hygiene, humility and heart of your man! It was time to see how this boy held up in the rough with his redhead. A whole bunch of family was gathering to enjoy the wooded terrain of Arizona. That first night they set up camp, and the next morning took a canoe ride on the river. It was a test of teamwork. Our capable carrot-top took the front seat where she felt she could be in charge and he sat in the rear where he knew he'd be the driver. She gave orders he couldn't hear, and he gave directions she didn't like: it was perfect. At night around the camp fire she'd keep his lap warm and everyone would eat until they couldn't anymore. People would share stories and laugh and the boy tried hard to stay warm... sure the fire was hot, but the girl's kisses were even better. Later, Ol' Jim taught as the boy tried to learn to lasso; he had his eyes on that pretty redheaded-meat and he wanted to make sure he could catch her. Try hard as he could, though, the boy never got good at it. Still, our boy-scout was determined to never let his prize get away, so he decided to try a different method the following weekend...

  2. "kisses were better" Gold! And the canoeing?! I LMBO! What a great "test" of your relationship. I don't think I've gone on a canoe ride with anyone that didn't result in grumbling at each other afterwards. (And I'm pretty easy to get along with.) HA! Glad you made it through that.
Your cliffhangers are cruel. Can't wait to see what method you used next!

  3. Camping is the best test. I love the scruffiness of a man when they don't shave for a few days while they are in the forest. You two are adorable!
